What Brought You To Be In The Middle Of Fitness?
I began my career in the fitness industry, teaching the bootcamp class to a bunch of awesome individuals. At the time, I was just beginning my journey and took the first chance I saw to begin gaining knowledge. After that, I moved into studying Kinesiology from The University of Toronto, while engaging in personal training and further group-based fitness. I continued to learn and experience, and was privileged to become a Nike Trainer and part of the leading Nike Training Club sessions in Toronto. At this point, I started posting fitness-related content to my Instagram and later converted into an Instagram fitness account and began to gain an audience.
What Brought You To This Point?
The first hurdle I had to face as I began to expand the reach of my Instagram was figuring what I wanted to post and how to keep people interested. I was not sure if videos or photos were better and how to encourage people to check out my posts. I would look up what other fitness sites were making for inspiration, but then I realized that I needed to create my own style and remain consistent with each piece of content I published. Could you give us an insight into strategies for growth on Instagram that worked on your behalf the most successful growth strategies that I have found to work for me included: A meaningful interaction with my followers as well as other Instagram accounts on the Instagram fitness area?
I Create Engaging And Informative Blog Posts For My Followers.
Engagement that is meaningful to my followers involves acknowledging their stories and posts, and engaging to them at a personal level (e.g. instead of commenting with an emoticon on a post by providing a paragraph of encouraging feedback or positive comments). Content creation is crucial for growing your Instagram following, especially given the algorithm currently in place. I have found that my content is the most popular with is posts that have high-quality in terms of visuals, provide worth in the form of information, or are something that viewers is able to take action on and adheres to an KISS rule (keep your posts short and simple).
How Do You Decide Which Hashtags To Use In Your Posts?
After conducting the research on my own and reading a number of articles about improving Instagram hashtags. I chose my hashtags in accordance with specific areas of interest and look for hashtags that are lesser than 500k posts. This way, I hope to get my message noticed in hashtag searches that are less crowded, and increase the chances of people seeing my post.
For instance, instead of using #fitness as a hashtag, I’ll use #fitnessforwomen. Based on your own experience Based on your experience, can using hashtags actually aid in gaining the number of followers? If so how I think that using specific hashtags to your niche can be a great way to grow followers provided that your content is compelling enough to draw users to your website and they appreciate and connect with your content. When this happens, then the person is more likely to click follow and then become a faithful following. If you’re using hashtags that are extremely broad, I believe the likelihood of increasing followers are smaller.
